About TikkunOlam47.com
Tikkun Olam is a Hebrew Phrase that literally means “Repair the World”
The number 47 is a significant number in the Genesis of the work Tyler has been doing in his spiritual awakening. The idea is that our own inner healing and repair can positively impact the world around us.
“Heal ourselves, Heal the World.”
This reminds us that what is within each of us determines that which is around us.
We believe that our true identity lives within us. We are a soul that is here with a body enclothed around us. Our true nature is that soul within us, and that soul is a piece of the great “one soul” which has many names;
God, The Universe, Love, The Vortex, etc. In Judaism, the Neshama is the Godly soul that exists and is a piece of Hashem (one of the many names of God).
We believe the idea of being a soul inside of a body (as opposed to a body with a soul inside) has consequences. If each of us has a soul inside of us that is connected to the one soul, then there is no true separation between us; beyond the three dimensional reality we currently find ourselves in.
We believe that we are multidimensional, the multiverse exists, and there are different planes of existence. If I have a godly soul, and you also have a godly soul, then we are truly one – there ceases to be a “you” and “me” in the higher realms – there is only “us.” There is one universal soul of which we are all connected to.
The energy work we do is about tapping into this power and energy that exists around us – and drawing from the source within.
It is our belief (and this goes into the interpretation work we do) that our dreams exist for the purpose of communicating between our physical bodies and the deeper soul within us that wants the best for us. We believe that the Universe (God, etc) is working things out for our best purposes. That circumstances happen “for us” and not “to us.”
This is not to say there isn’t suffering in the world because we have freedom to choose. We must navigate these bodies in this physical space.
TikkunOlam47.com exists to help us on this journey.
About the founder:
Barton Tyler Miller
(Hebrew Name Benjamin Ben Re’uven)
Tyler arrived on the earth over 50 years ago to experience the world around us. He was born into a conservative Jewish family in Connecticut, and moved to Philadelphia at the age of 5. After Losing his father at the age of 15,
he became agnostic – running away from himself for almost 33 years – across the country to California. After a heart attack in 2016 at the age of 43, Tyler decided to “come home” and then moved to Central New York in December
2018.
Tyler’s first spiritual awakening came in 1997 when connecting the idea of “love” and “God.” He then had a spiritual encounter and epiphany while in Chico, California. For a while, there was significant healing in his life and this led to marriage in 2002. Once married, the spiritual development was stagnated and the marriage struggled. The amazing gift of six daughters during 19 years of marriage was indeed the blessing and catalyst for being required to heal further.
When upon the first separation of his marriage in August of 2020, a second spiritual awakening began, and the earlier wounds of Judaism from childhood began to heal. The marriage seemed to get back on track in October of 2020, but ended in January of 2022, which led to his most recent spiritual awakening.
Giftings have always been a part of his life: prophecy, dream interpretation, a sixth sense in reading people and energy have begun to gel and come together.
He worked in Higher Education for 25 years, was a California State Certified Sexual Assault/Crisis Counselor, and has worked on committees connected to spirituality and religion within higher education.
